The Naval War College Museum furthers the mission of the school with exhibits on matters of national policy, diplomacy and tactics. All exhibits revolve around the sea and its role in American military history, including the maritime events that occurred in the Narragansett Bay during the American Revolution. Items presented in the museum run from antique torpedoes to model ships to old photographs. Resting on the grounds of the Naval War College in historic Founders Hall, the museum sits on the northern tip of Coasters Harbor Island.
